UAE Cybersecurity Council Showcases Digital Initiatives At GITEX Global 2025 Exhibition
The UAE Cybersecurity Council is set to participate in "GITEX 2025" at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13th to 17th October. During this event, the Council will present its innovative digital initiatives aimed at advancing digital transformation and securing the nation's cyberspace. The exhibition will also serve as a platform for showcasing strategies to enhance cybersecurity both nationally and internationally.
GITEX Global has been a significant platform for technology and startups for over four decades. It connects innovators and investors in the tech sector. This year's edition will feature major technology companies and emerging startups in fields like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable technologies.

Throughout the exhibition, the Council plans to host workshops and seminars on crucial topics such as data protection, digital awareness, and advanced cyberattack response. These sessions aim to educate participants on safeguarding digital infrastructure effectively.
The Council will also highlight several pioneering initiatives it has launched in cybersecurity. These include platforms for sharing cyber threat intelligence, such as the Compliance and Governance Platform and the "Crystal Ball" predictive analysis platform. Additionally, it will showcase the "Capture the Flag" competition under the Cyber E71 initiative.
Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, stated that this year's GITEX serves as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among global institutions. He noted that leading technology companies, startups, and government entities are participating to showcase advancements in information technology worldwide.
The Council is also exploring partnerships with private sector entities. It aims to review collaborations established with leading global technology companies to enhance cyber resilience. The 'North Star' showcases dedicated to startups will be another highlight of their participation.
