UAE Minister Noura Al Kaabi Highlights Commitment To Diversity And Dialogue At Monocle’s Quality Of Life Conference
Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State, participated in Monocle's tenth Quality of Life Conference in Barcelona. She engaged in a discussion with Tyler Brûlé and Andrew Tuck from Monocle magazine. The conversation focused on how the UAE's principles of openness and coexistence shape its diplomatic and international strategies.
Al Kaabi highlighted the UAE’s dedication to openness and dialogue as central to its progress. She stated that embracing diversity is crucial for building a peaceful society. Al Kaabi addressed current global issues, stressing the need for unity against hate speech and racism. She cited the UAE’s role in co-authoring UN Security Council Resolution 2686 as an example of international cooperation to combat intolerance and prevent conflict.
She further emphasized the importance of dialogue and diverse perspectives both locally and globally. Al Kaabi stated, "Through global events and collaborative platforms, the UAE will continue to champion inclusiveness, cultural exchange, and genuine people-to-people connections as foundations for peace, stability, and prosperity."
