UAE Reaffirms Its Commitment To Supporting Joint Arab Action Across Developmental Frameworks
The UAE has reiterated its strong dedication to fostering joint Arab cooperation in various developmental areas, guided by the vision of its leadership. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al Malik, Head of the International Organisations Department at the Ministry, conveyed this during the opening of the Senior Officials’ Preparatory Meeting for the 115th session of the Arab Economic and Social Council.
The meeting took place at the Arab League’s General Secretariat, with senior officials from Arab economic ministries in attendance. Bin Suleiman highlighted the importance of this gathering as it plays a crucial role in formulating recommendations for the upcoming ministerial-level session scheduled for tomorrow in Cairo.

During its presidency of the 114th session, the UAE focused on supporting collaborative Arab initiatives aimed at advancing economic, social, and environmental sectors. These areas are seen as essential components for comprehensive and sustainable development among Arab countries.
Bin Suleiman emphasised that these sectors are vital pillars for achieving sustainable growth across Arab nations. He also announced that Bahrain would assume the presidency of the next session, expressing confidence in Bahrain's ability to build upon previous achievements.
In his concluding remarks, Bin Suleiman confirmed that Bahrain would take over leadership responsibilities from the UAE. He expressed full support for Bahrain’s efforts to achieve ambitious goals that align with common Arab interests.
The UAE remains committed to assisting Bahrain in strengthening joint Arab cooperation. This transition is expected to continue fostering progress and collaboration within the region.
