UAE Armed Forces Celebrated For Global Peace Efforts And Regional Stability

On the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the unification of the armed forces, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, highlighted the pivotal role of this unification in bolstering the UAE's foundations. The unification, dated May 6, 1976, has been instrumental in supporting the nation's cultural and developmental journey while safeguarding its significant achievements.

His Highness emphasized that the UAE Armed Forces have transcended their primary role of national protection to become key players in regional and global deterrence and peacekeeping.
