UAE's New Ambassador Presents Credentials To Colombia's President, Aims To Strengthen Ties

Mohammed Abdullah bin Khater Al Shamsi has officially presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Republic of Colombia. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Bogotá, where Al Shamsi met with Gustavo Petro Urrego, President of Colombia.

During the event, Al Shamsi conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. He extended their wishes for continued development and prosperity for the government and people of Colombia.

UAE Ambassador Meets Colombia President

President Urrego reciprocated by sending his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He expressed his hopes for further growth and development for the UAE.

President Urrego wished Ambassador Al Shamsi success in his new role and emphasized Colombia's readiness to provide all necessary support to facilitate his duties. He highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors between the two countries.

Al Shamsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Colombia. He reiterated his commitment to strengthening ties between the two nations by enhancing cooperation across multiple fields.
