UAE Provides First Batch Of Food Aid To Gaza Under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3

UAE humanitarian aid convoy No. 272 has entered the Gaza Strip under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, transporting 387 tonnes of food parcels. This delivery represents the first batch from the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship to cross into Gaza, supplying large-scale food support for civilians facing severe shortages and ongoing humanitarian pressures.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship reached Al Arish Port last week with a major food cargo intended for Gaza. Its load includes ten million meals donated by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, forming part of the UAE’s continuing programme to strengthen food security and assist the most vulnerable Palestinian communities.

The entry of convoy No. 272 fits within an integrated logistics framework led by the UAE humanitarian aid team based in Al Arish. Operations start with the structured unloading of the ship’s containers, then organised transfer of consignments to a dedicated UAE humanitarian aid logistics centre, where technical processing steps support quick and safe onward distribution.

At this logistics centre, teams check each parcel, verify safety, and sort items by type and classification. Any packages showing damage are opened and repacked under strict quality rules to protect suitability for consumption. Goods are then stored in organised warehouse zones, which helps teams assemble orders rapidly when field needs are confirmed.

Once inspection, sorting and warehousing are finished, food supplies enter the wider humanitarian supply chain. From there, shipments move in stages to the Gaza Strip through UAE humanitarian aid convoys. This rolling process is designed to provide steady relief inputs and meet basic requirements of the brotherly Palestinian population under continuing hardship.

Describing the field work in Al Arish, Media Coordinator Mohammed Al Kaabi highlighted continuous activity by the UAE team. Al Kaabi said, "the UAE humanitarian aid team in Al Arish works day and night, around the clock, to ensure aid reaches its beneficiaries in the Gaza Strip as quickly as possible." This reflects intensive coordination on the ground.

Al Kaabi noted that staff have worked extensively on unloading, offloading and organising the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship cargo since the vessel docked. Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues to deliver UAE humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people through a combined relief structure. This includes land convoys such as No. 272, an air bridge, and maritime shipments, alongside health and food initiatives. The operation reflects the UAE’s stated position of supporting the brotherly population and helping reduce their humanitarian suffering.
