UAE AI Office Joins Forces With Rittal To Strengthen Digital Infrastructure

The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with Rittal FZE, a subsidiary of RITTAL GmbH & Co. KG, Herborn, Germany. This collaboration aims to enhance AI initiatives, promote AI adoption and learning, and bolster the UAE's digital infrastructure through international cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, and Syed Tahir Nazir, Managing Director of Rittal FZE. The signing took place during the AI Retreat 2024, an event organised by the Dubai Centre for AI Applications in collaboration with the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence.

The AI Retreat 2024 is the largest event of its kind, aiming to accelerate AI application adoption. It features participation from over 2,000 decision-makers, experts, and officials from both government and private sectors. The event underscores the UAE's commitment to advancing its position as a global hub for AI.

Saqr Binghalib highlighted that the UAE Government prioritises building skills and talents as a crucial element in its digital development journey. He emphasised that strengthening partnerships between the government and private sector enhances the country's global role in the AI sector and supports national strategies aimed at building future competencies.

Syed Tahir Nazir expressed Rittal FZE's commitment to supporting the vision of the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications. He noted that Rittal FZE is dedicated to capacity building, knowledge enhancement, and technological advancements through innovations in AI and other smart applications.

Support for Robotics and Industry 4.0

Rittal FZE aims to support programming in robotics and Industry 4.0 systems and applications. The company also focuses on green technologies, environmental protection, and reducing carbon footprints through innovative products and solutions.
