UAE's ADPIC Highlights AED 200 Billion Infrastructure Portfolio At Global Conference In Geneva

The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) recently highlighted its expertise in infrastructure development at the Global Infrastructure Conference. This event, organised by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), took place in Geneva, Switzerland. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), delivered a keynote address, emphasising the achievements of DMT and ADPIC in capital projects.

Al Shorafa stated, "Our presence at the Global Infrastructure Conference is a testament to Abu Dhabi's unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of infrastructure development. ADPIC Showcases AED 200 Billion Portfolio

The conference revolved around the theme Transforming Lives with Infrastructure – Investing in and Building a Better World for All. It highlighted the significance of sustainable, ethical, and efficient infrastructure investments. During this two-day event, ADPIC showcased its impressive portfolio comprising over 600 projects valued at approximately AED200 billion. Key stakeholders from engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors were engaged.

Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, Acting Director-General of ADPIC, participated in a panel discussion led by FIDIC Board Member Jose Joaquine Ortiz Garcia. The discussion focused on ADPIC’s role in overseeing capital projects and driving growth in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, ADPIC interacted with attendees through its exhibition stand, providing insights into its mandate and current projects.

Eid commented on ADPIC’s participation: "The opportunity to share ADPIC’s achievements at such a prestigious forum reflects our commitment to excellence in infrastructure development.
