Trescon Celebrates a Decade of Government-Partnered Events Across MEASA
Trescon is marking ten years in business as one of MENA region's trusted event partners, highlighting how government-backed platforms in Dubai have shaped its growth and future plans across the wider MEASA corridor, with leadership now targeting larger economic roles rather than acting as a traditional event organiser.
Based in Dubai since opening a UAE office in 2021, Trescon runs four central events within Dubai Future Finance Week for DIFC: Dubai FinTech Summit, Future Sustainability Forum, Future Islamic Finance Forum and Reg3 Forum, with Dubai FinTech Summit alone attracting more than 9,000 participants and supporting the emirate's status as a leading global fintech centre.

Trescon built its model around leadership-focused platforms, usually between 3,000 and 10,000 senior delegates, where organisers and hosts prioritise concrete outcomes ahead of exhibition-style displays, a format that appeals to government bodies seeking policy dialogue, investment deals and measurable returns from each edition.
Over the last decade, Trescon has delivered more than 500 events in over 10 countries, connecting upwards of 250,000 attendees, enabling more than one million targeted business connections and engaging more than 3,500 investors, with a leadership group overseeing 250-plus staff spread across international offices including the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
| Metric | Figure |
|---|---|

| Countries covered | 10+ |
| Total attendees | 250,000+ |
| Curated business connections | 1,000,000+ |

The company has also helped deliver high-profile government initiatives such as the World Police Summit with Dubai Police and the Dubai Future Forum with Dubai Future Foundation, reinforcing trust from public institutions that rely on Trescon to manage complex, multi-stakeholder gatherings tied to national priorities like security, innovation and future readiness.
Trescon was founded in 2016 in Bengaluru by Mohammed Saleem, Founder & Chairman, together with Mithun Shetty, Vice Chairman, and Swarnavo Roy, Managing Director, later choosing Dubai as regional headquarters in line with the city's ambitions in finance, artificial intelligence, sustainability and advanced industries, while names such as Madhukar Dudda, Ummer Shameem, Sanjiv Singh, Anil Kumar, Edward Maben, Christine Davidson, Vimal Bhat and Naveen Bharadwaj now form the wider leadership team.
"Our philosophy has always been simple: if a government entrusts you with a flagship platform, delivery must be flawless. At this level, the organiser's credibility and the government's reputation are inseparable."
With Dubai as its main base and a newer presence in Riyadh, Trescon is widening operations across Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia and African markets such as Mauritius, developing fresh government-aligned platforms on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, STEM and deeptech to match rising investment in digital transformation, fintech, future skills and sustainability across these high-growth economies.
"Grateful to Dubai for providing the proving ground for our government-partnership model. As we enter our second decade, we are scaling that framework across high-growth economies aligned with future technologies, sustainability & capacity building."
