TRENDS Research And DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation Forge Partnership For Enhanced Humanitarian Research

TRENDS Research & Advisory has entered a strategic partnership with DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation. This collaboration aims to enhance cooperation in research, studies, and training programs focused on humanitarianism, international cooperation, and socio-economic development. The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali of TRENDS and Khaled Al Attar of DIHAD at the Sharjah International Book Fair 2024.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali highlighted that this partnership seeks to strengthen scientific and knowledge-based collaborations. It focuses on analysing humanitarian issues through specialised research, studies, and opinion polls to provide actionable solutions. This aligns with TRENDS' strategy to expand its network of strategic partnerships regionally and internationally.

Khaled Al Attar emphasised the importance of this agreement in enhancing collaboration on humanitarian issues. He noted that strengthening humanitarian diplomacy is crucial for achieving peace and justice globally. The partnership aims to build an international future based on justice and solidarity through forward-looking research and studies.

Al Attar also stressed the role of academic research in addressing disasters and humanitarian challenges. Integrating efforts from humanitarian organisations and research institutions is vital for rapid emergency responses and addressing weaknesses in operations.

The agreement includes organising joint research activities such as conferences, seminars, lectures, and workshops. These initiatives aim to support research efforts, enrich idea exchange, and address humanitarian issues that bolster sustainable development efforts.
