Trends Research To Unveil Insights At Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024
Trends Research and Advisory is set to make a significant appearance at the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024, scheduled from 29th April to 5th May. Operating under the captivating slogan 'Where the World's Tales Unfold', the Trends Pavilion aims to immerse visitors in a vast sea of knowledge, showcasing hundreds of publications. These range from original works and translations to comprehensive studies on a variety of critical topics such as political Islam movements, technology and artificial intelligence, as well as economic development and environmental sustainability.
The fair will serve as a platform for Trends to conduct a series of events and panel discussions, tackling current global issues. These sessions will feature an array of distinguished thinkers, researchers, and media professionals. Among the highlights is a seminar focused on "Global Trends in Artificial Intelligence", shedding light on the latest advancements in the field. Additionally, a seminar titled "Regional Cooperation as a Gateway to Prosperity and Stability: The UAE and Egypt as a Model" will be held, celebrating Egypt's guest of honour status at this year's fair.
Under the theme "Foreseeing the Future Through Artificial Intelligence," Trends will introduce 'Echo', a robot designed to interact with visitors, answering queries about Trends' publications and events. Furthermore, the pavilion will showcase the innovative Tara glasses, enabling virtual browsing of Trends' extensive collection of publications. This integration of digital glasses and robotic technology underscores Trends' dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology in the dissemination of knowledge.
On the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, Trends is expected to sign several key agreements and memoranda of understanding with various entities. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, expressed pride in participating in this pivotal cultural event, highlighting its role as a crucial platform for knowledge exchange across different societal sectors.
Rawdha AlMarzouqi, Director of Exhibitions and Distribution at Trends, emphasized the centre's commitment to presenting a diverse array of books that address a broad spectrum of regional and global issues.
