TRENDS Research & Advisory Showcases Over 350 Publications At Cairo International Book Fair 2025

TRENDS Research & Advisory is set to join the Cairo International Book Fair 2025 for the fourth time. This event, a significant cultural and intellectual gathering in the Middle East, will take place from 24th January to 5th February 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in Cairo. The fair will host over 1,345 publishing houses from 80 countries, featuring more than 6,150 exhibitors.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, expressed that their participation aims to strengthen their role as an independent research institution. By showcasing their latest publications and studies, they intend to enrich public knowledge and deepen understanding of global issues. "Our goal is to promote a culture of purposeful scientific research," he stated.

The Centre plans to organise various intellectual symposiums and panel discussions during the book fair. A key event will be a symposium titled "Harnessing AI for Development and Prosperity: Visions and Future Insights." Additionally, TRENDS will introduce the first issue of its "AI Trends" series from its pavilion at the fair.

Rawda Al-Marzouqi, Director of Distribution and Exhibitions at TRENDS, mentioned that their pavilion will be located in Hall 3, Pavilion B49. It will feature over 350 diverse publications covering topics like artificial intelligence, economic development, energy resources, environmental sustainability, and Middle Eastern security.

The pavilion will incorporate AI enhancements to offer visitors an engaging experience. Al-Marzouqi highlighted that new publications focusing on AI, cybersecurity, and innovative technologies will be launched during the fair. These efforts aim to spread specialised knowledge across various research fields.

Dr. Al-Ali emphasised that TRENDS aims to create a dialogue platform at the book fair. This platform will bring together researchers, academics, specialists, and the public to exchange ideas on international and regional issues. The goal is to foster critical thinking and promote a culture of dialogue.

Strategic Partnerships

TRENDS plans to sign several cooperation agreements during the event to establish strategic partnerships with research and academic institutions. These partnerships are intended to enhance collaboration in scientific research and knowledge dissemination.

The Centre's participation also seeks to raise awareness about the importance of scientific research in societal development. Dr. Al-Ali noted that it plays a crucial role in providing solutions to contemporary challenges while contributing to sustainable development goals.

This year's theme for the book fair is "Read... In the Beginning Was the Word." With over 350 publications on display by TRENDS alone, attendees can expect a rich variety of scientific content aimed at enriching knowledge across different fields.
