TRENDS Research & Advisory Opens New Office In Buenos Aires To Enhance Research Collaboration
TRENDS Research & Advisory has opened a new office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This move aims to expand its global presence and foster connections with local research centres. The inauguration coincided with discussions with prominent Argentine think tanks, including the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI). These dialogues focused on enhancing cooperation in academic research, strategies, and technology.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, highlighted the significance of this expansion. He stated that the Buenos Aires office is a crucial step in building global research partnerships. Dr. Al-Ali hopes the office will facilitate communication with Argentine academic institutions on shared interests. This collaboration aims to deepen understanding of events and provide insights through scientific methods.

TRENDS researchers engaged in a panel discussion with CARI representatives. They explored the importance of academic research and discussed opportunities for training, consultancy, and expertise exchange. The discussions also covered potential joint research projects that could benefit both organisations.
Following these discussions, TRENDS signed a research partnership agreement with CARI. The agreement outlines cooperation areas through TRENDS' Buenos Aires office. It includes exchanging expertise and information, conducting training courses, and implementing joint consultancy projects.
The agreement was formalised by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali from TRENDS and Dr. Paulo Botta from CARI. Dr. Botta emphasised the critical role of research institutions in enhancing international relations. He noted that such collaborations are vital for fostering mutual understanding between countries.
The new office will operate remotely to maintain close ties with Argentine institutions. This setup aims to facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration on various projects of mutual interest.
This strategic expansion by TRENDS marks an important milestone in its journey to establish a global network of research partnerships. By collaborating with Argentine institutions, TRENDS seeks to contribute to shaping future developments through informed scientific approaches.
