TRENDS' 2nd Annual AI Dialogue To Explore Tech Diplomacy In MENA Region
The 2nd Annual Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence, organised by TRENDS Research & Advisory, is set to begin tomorrow. This event, titled "Tech Diplomacy in the Middle East and North Africa," is held in collaboration with the UAE Cybersecurity Council and 21 other partners. It will bring together experts from various fields to discuss AI's role in regional development.
The first session, "Powering Progress: The New Era of US-Gulf Partnerships," will delve into strategic cooperation opportunities. It aims to explore how innovation and advanced technology can drive future partnerships between the US and Gulf countries. The session will highlight AI's pivotal role in these collaborations.

In the second session, titled "Navigating the Geopolitics of AI," discussions will centre around how technological advancements are altering global power dynamics. Experts will examine AI's influence on international relations and policy-making, providing insights into its geopolitical implications.
Enhancing Global Image Through Technology
The third session, "Soft Power Through AI and Digital Infrastructure," will focus on leveraging innovative technologies to improve nations' global image. The discussion will cover how these technologies can foster cross-cultural communication and promote sustainable development worldwide.
G42 serves as the AI partner for this event, while major technology partners include CrowdStrike, Accenture, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Microsoft. Academic institutions such as UAE University, Rabdan Academy, MBZUAI, MBZUH, and Khalifa University are also involved as academic partners.
