TECOM Group Achieves 55 LEED Certification

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a globally recognized mark of excellence for green buildings.

Awarded by the USGBC, it entails a rigorous evaluation process that assesses a building's performance across various metrics, including energy and water usage, carbon footprint, indoor environmental quality, and more.

TECOM Group's successful acquisition of these certifications reflects its dedication to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability in its operations.

Spearheading these green initiatives, Haif Zamzam, Executive Vice President of Strategy & Marketing and Chair of the ESG Committee at TECOM Group PJSC, highlighted the importance of commercial workspaces in shaping the future. Zamzam stated, "Commercial workspaces are instrumental in shaping the urban future, and engineering excellence is vital to designing workspaces where the world's brightest minds thrive and excel. Our sustainability efforts are geared to make TECOM Group's business districts and their customers' operations more environment-friendly, setting new standards for value chains in vital economic sectors such as technology, media, design, and science. The LEED recognitions showcase the success of our ESG strategy and the appeal of our districts to global investors and businesses pursuing sustainable growth."
