Technomak To Expand Facilities In Sharjah's Hamriyah Free Zone
Technomak, a turn-key EPC company in oil and gas, FPSO, and renewable energy, is set to expand significantly in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The company plans to add 500,000 square feet for a new factory, increasing its total area in the free zone to 1.8 million square feet.
This expansion will boost Technomak’s investment in HFZA from AED440.7 million to AED661 million. The move highlights the free zone's competitive advantages and appeal to international investors. The announcement came during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony attended by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA, and Mohammed Hanifa, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Technomak.

The expansion will increase the company's plant production capacity from 16,000 to 28,000 tonnes per annum of modular steel structures. Technomak specialises in modular control rooms and data centres, offering process design and extensive modularisation solutions for both offshore and onshore projects.
Haxer Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Technomak, stated that they chose Hamriyah Free Zone due to Sharjah's strategic geographical location. He cited the state-of-the-art infrastructure available and favourable policies supporting business growth as key factors.
"Our decision to expand in HFZA was also influenced by the business-friendly economic conditions," Ali added. "The emirate's proximity to key regional and global markets and easy access to skilled labour contributed to our decision."
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei emphasised the benefits provided by HFZA. "The expansion of our clients' investments from Sharjah to international markets signifies the competitive advantages we provide," he said. "We are committed to this approach and will spare no effort to offer all necessary facilities."
The Hamriyah Free Zone offers a wide range of industrial and commercial lands with advanced infrastructure. These facilities support investors' external expansion plans, particularly for import and re-export activities to global markets.
The major expansion reflects Technomak’s commitment to enhancing its global service capabilities. By meeting clients' project requirements effectively, the company aims to support their growth and development further.
