Tech Mahindra Launches TechM Orion: Next-Gen AI Platform For Enterprises

Tech Mahindra has made a significant stride in the field of artificial intelligence with the introduction of TechM Orion, a cutting-edge platform designed to enhance AI agent development and deployment. This platform, powered by NVIDIA's accelerated computing, aims to facilitate the responsible and efficient scaling of AI within enterprises, focusing on key areas such as governance and transparency while delivering real business outcomes.

The foundation of TechM Orion is NVIDIA's accelerated computing alongside the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite, incorporating NVIDIA NIM, NVIDIA NeMo, and NVIDIA RAPIDS. This powerful combination ensures efficient AI inference, model training, and customisation. It supports various deployment models, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid, ensuring seamless connectivity with existing client systems and third-party tools. This integration is vital for maximising current AI investments and fostering scalable growth.

Nikhil Malhotra, Tech Mahindra's Chief Innovation Officer, emphasized the necessity of moving beyond merely democratising AI agent development. He highlighted the demand for return on investment, assurance, and a clear trajectory towards transforming business processes through AI.

TechM Orion simplifies the deployment of AI solutions, whether in assisted or fully autonomous settings, by ensuring governance and transparency across the AI lifecycle. It integrates AI agents from SaaS platforms, enhancing orchestration and scalability through embedded assurance guardrails. This approach accelerates productivity and innovation, allowing global enterprises to deploy AI solutions swiftly.

The platform offers a suite of features designed to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI for enterprises. These include the capability to build and deploy AI agents in under a week using the C2A (Chat-to-Agent) interface, a library of over 200 pre-built AI agents across various industries, and seamless integration with enterprise systems through a mix of pre-configured connectors, low-code custom adapters, and out-of-the-box agentic frameworks. Moreover, TechM Orion enforces over 30 AI governance checks for each agent, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

TechM Orion is set to be commercially available in Q3 2025, with early access programs for select clients starting in August. This initiative builds on Tech Mahindra's AI innovation leadership, including the creation of Project Indus 2.0 and the recent launch of the "AI Delivered Right" strategy in April 2025.
