TDF Partners With Biban24 To Enhance Innovation And Support Tourism Growth In Saudi Arabia

The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) recently concluded its significant role as the "Enablement Sponsor" at Biban24, showcasing its dedication to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship within Saudi Arabia's growing tourism industry. TDF signed eight crucial agreements with financial institutions and fintech platforms during the event. A notable partnership was formed with the Arab National Bank to offer accessible financing solutions for tourism initiatives.

In addition to forming new alliances, TDF celebrated the achievements of 10 exceptional projects facilitated through TDF Grow. This highlights the fund's commitment to supporting emerging businesses in the tourism sector. Reflecting on this participation, TDF CEO Qusai Al-Fakhri stated: "We are proud to have been a partner of Biban24, as supporting entrepreneurs and MSMEs is a cornerstone of our strategy to build a sustainable tourism ecosystem."

Al-Fakhri further emphasized that the agreements made during Biban24 reinforce their dedication to providing comprehensive financing solutions that empower businesses. He believes these efforts will drive growth in the tourism sector, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's ambitious goals. Supporting innovative projects is seen as key to creating opportunities and enhancing competitiveness in Saudi tourism.

TDF's involvement in Biban24 also included two insightful panel discussions that underscored its leadership in tourism. One discussion, titled "Driving Saudi Tourism through Local Project Enablement," was led by TDF’s Chief of Strategy Badr Alherbish. This session explored opportunities for sustainable growth within the sector.

Alherbish highlighted the importance of empowering emerging projects to align with the National Tourism Strategy and contribute to economic diversification goals. The other panel, "Building the Future of Tourism," featured TDF Grow Executive Director Prince Saud Bin Mohammed Al Saud. He discussed key programs and achievements while emphasizing support for startups and entrepreneurs in tourism.
