TA’ZIZ Boosts UAE’s Economy With 31 New Land Agreements In Al Ruwais
TA’ZIZ, a chemicals and industrial ecosystem under development in Al Ruwais Industrial City, Abu Dhabi, has announced the signing of 31 land reservation agreements with tenants for its Light Industrial Area. These agreements mark a significant step in the UAE's industrialisation and economic diversification efforts.
The initial group of tenants includes entities from manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and training services sectors. These sectors are crucial to the UAE's economic strategy. The reserved spaces span several phases of the project, highlighting the comprehensive planning involved.

Mashal Saoud Al-Kindi, CEO of TA’ZIZ, emphasised the strategic value of these agreements. "These land reservation agreements demonstrate the enhanced value proposition of the TA’ZIZ Light Industrial Area. By leveraging the purpose-built infrastructure TA’ZIZ offers in close proximity to our Industrial Chemicals Zone and the Al Ruwais Industrial City, regional and industry leaders can participate fully in the industrialisation and diversification of the UAE’s economy and become key partners in the creation of hundreds of new value chains," he stated.
The tenants are expected to gain access to their plots in 2025. This will enable them to provide manufacturing capacities and industrial services for the Al Dhafra region. The synergies offered by the TA’ZIZ ecosystem and its proximity to the TA'ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone and Al Ruwais industrial area are expected to be significant.
Upon completion, the TA’ZIZ Light Industrial Area will cover 226,000 square metres of purpose-built warehousing and 249 serviced plots across 3.71 square kilometres. This area will accommodate hundreds of manufacturing and industrial services businesses.
The project is set to attract over US$1 billion (AED3.67 billion) in investment and generate thousands of jobs in the region. This aligns with the UAE’s vision for industrialisation and economic diversification by creating a robust ecosystem around new chemical value chains.
Future Prospects
The TA’ZIZ Light Industrial Area offers scalable opportunities geared for rapid growth in chemicals manufacturing and industrial services sectors. By providing a competitive ecosystem, TA’ZIZ aims to support regional leaders in becoming key partners in this transformative journey.
