Tadweer Group Leads Sustainability Efforts At Liwa Date Festival

Tadweer Group has been named the official sponsor of the 20th Liwa Date Festival. This event, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, will be held from 15th to 28th July in Liwa City, Al Dhafra region.

Tadweer Group’s Community Engagement team will host a booth dedicated to raising awareness about recycling and promoting the 3 Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle). This booth will feature interactive activities, contests, and educational sessions aimed at encouraging waste segregation and environmental sustainability. Additionally, it will highlight Tadweer’s key projects focused on diverting waste from landfills.

The organisation is also committed to ensuring the cleanliness of the festival. Over 50 team members will provide cleaning and waste management services throughout the event. Tadweer Group will supply more than 150 different containers for waste collection and disposal.

The Community Engagement team at Tadweer Group is dedicated to raising awareness about recycling among the public. They aim to showcase the importance of sustainable practices through various initiatives. From festivals to workshops and exhibitions, as well as interactions with youth in schools, they promote a sustainability mindset across Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra, and Al Ain.
