India's TAC Infosec Makes Strategic Acquisitions In UAE And US Cybersecurity Firms

TAC Infosec Limited, previously known as TAC Info Private Limited, has expanded its cybersecurity services into the USA and UAE through the acquisition of two companies. This move is part of its strategy to bolster its presence in these significant markets. The company shared this development in a communication to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on September 30, 2024.

TAC Security's foray into the Middle East involves the acquisition of TAC Cyber Security Consultancy L.L.C, a subsidiary in the UAE. This move aims to tap into the increasing demand for cybersecurity services in the GCC region, the Middle East, and Africa. Given the UAE's status as a financial and technological nexus, this acquisition positions TAC Security to provide top-notch cybersecurity solutions to a wide range of clients, from local businesses to government agencies. This strategic expansion underscores the company's commitment to securing digital futures across the globe.

In the United States, the firm acquired CyberSandia, a cybersecurity company with an exclusive contract for IT services with the State of New Mexico. This step not only enhances TAC Security's footprint in the U.S. market but also highlights its focus on expanding into the public sector. The inclusion of Hector Balderas, the former Attorney General of New Mexico, on the Board of Directors underscores the strategic nature of this acquisition. TAC Security aims to capitalize on the growing cybersecurity budgets and opportunities within the region, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy.

Trishneet Arora, the founder, Chairman, and CEO of TAC Security, expressed excitement over the expansion into the GCC region and the acquisition of CyberSandia in the USA. Arora emphasized the importance of these moves in the company's mission to safeguard digital infrastructure worldwide. The acquisition of CyberSandia not only leverages TAC Security's longstanding relationships within the State of New Mexico, including with its Office of State Auditor and Office of Attorney General but also strengthens the company’s service offerings, given CyberSandia's exclusive contract for IT services with the state.

These acquisitions reflect TAC Security's larger ambition for growth and innovation within the cybersecurity industry. The company's flagship product, ESOF (Enterprise Security in One Framework), continues to make inroads globally, providing comprehensive vulnerability management and cybersecurity solutions.

TAC Security has also garnered attention for its successful IPO, which was oversubscribed and valued at $1 billion, as well as for holding esteemed certifications such as CREST, PCI ASV, and ISO 27001. With partnerships with leading tech corporations like Google, Microsoft, and Meta, TAC Security serves an impressive roster of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, startups, and government entities around the world.
