Sultan Bin Ahmed Leads Sharjah National Oil Corporation Meeting On Future Plans And Digital Transformation
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), led a senior management meeting on Wednesday morning. The meeting took place at his office in the Department of Oil. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed expressed appreciation for SNOC's efforts in enhancing operations and supporting projects aligned with Sharjah's sustainable development, energy security, and environmental protection strategies.
The meeting covered several agenda items concerning SNOC's performance and future plans. A key highlight was the approval of the financial budget for 2026. Additionally, a five-year plan from 2026 to 2030 was endorsed, focusing on various projects aimed at operational development within SNOC.
The development plan for the Hadiba Field received approval alongside other strategic projects currently in progress at SNOC. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to enhance operational capabilities and ensure long-term growth.
Another significant topic discussed was SNOC's digital transformation project. The meeting reviewed the proposed timeline for its completion, which aligns with Sharjah's vision for digital transformation. This initiative aims to integrate advanced technological, digital, and artificial intelligence systems across operations.
Before the meeting commenced, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed honoured SNOC's founding members on its 15th anniversary. He praised their contributions over the years and expressed gratitude for their dedication. Commemorative photographs were taken to mark this occasion.
In attendance were Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of SNOC; Hatem Mohamed Al Mosa, Director-General of the Petroleum Department; and Khamis Abdullah Al Mazrouei, CEO of SNOC.
The meeting underscored SNOC's commitment to advancing its operations through strategic planning and innovation. By aligning with Sharjah's broader goals, SNOC aims to contribute significantly to sustainable development and energy security in the region.
