Sultan Bin Ahmed Celebrates Graduation Of 252 Students At University Of Sharjah Ceremony
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, attended a graduation ceremony on Thursday morning. The event celebrated 252 graduates from the fall semester of 2024 at the University City Hall. H.H. Sheikh Sultan highlighted the significance of celebrating these achievements, which filled everyone with pride.
The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran. Dr. Hamid Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the University, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Sultan for attending and celebrating the graduates' accomplishments. He congratulated both graduates and their families on reaching this important milestone.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan emphasised the importance of artificial intelligence in today's rapidly changing world. He noted that AI is not just a technical tool but a driver of innovation and development across various sectors. Graduates were encouraged to integrate AI into their careers as creators rather than mere users.
He further explained that keeping pace with technological advancements is crucial for those seeking excellence and leadership. The future will favour individuals who master AI, adapt to its tools, and effectively utilise its capabilities.
In his speech, H.H. Sheikh Sultan described graduation as a gateway to new horizons rather than an endpoint. He stressed that success favours those who are determined and hardworking, urging graduates to pursue their dreams with effort and resolve.
He also highlighted determination and self-belief as key factors for overcoming challenges, stating that "impossible" often reflects a lack of belief in one's abilities. Graduates were encouraged to view challenges as opportunities for growth.
Acknowledging Support and Achievements
H.H. Sheikh Sultan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents of the students for being their primary support system. He offered prayers for their prosperity in future endeavours and contributions to their countries.
The President awarded certificates to graduating students, congratulating them on their achievements and wishing them continued success in all future pursuits.

The ceremony concluded with 244 master's degree recipients and eight postgraduate diploma holders receiving their certificates from H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed, marking a significant achievement in their academic journey.
