SteelFab 2025 Exhibition Launches In Sharjah, Showcasing Innovations In Metal Manufacturing

Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, inaugurated the 20th SteelFab 2025 exhibition. This event is the largest for the metal-manufacturing industry in the Middle East and North Africa. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), it features over 600 brands and 350 exhibitors from 33 countries.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Qasimi engaged with exhibitors and representatives from various companies. He was briefed on cutting-edge products and equipment in the steel and iron industry. The tour included a review of samples showcasing innovations in metalworking technologies. Accompanying him were Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah, along with other board members.

SteelFab 2025 Exhibition Kicks Off in Sharjah

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais highlighted the importance of supporting the metal manufacturing sector as a key economic pillar. He noted that SteelFab’s annual growth strengthens the UAE’s industrial position. "SteelFab offers an ideal platform for exchanging expertise and investment opportunities among top manufacturers, suppliers, investors, and experts in this crucial industry," Al Owais stated.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked on SteelFab's significance coinciding with its 20th anniversary. The event has grown from 48 exhibitors to hundreds of brands and industry leaders. It serves as a testament to industrial growth achieved by Sharjah and the UAE over the years.

The exhibition provides a gateway for companies to expand into UAE and regional steel markets. It allows exhibitors to form partnerships, exchange expertise, and stay updated on industry developments. Local steel fabrication companies can network with global counterparts to enhance their market competitiveness.

Sheikh Khaled praised Sharjah’s ability to attract diverse participation in specialised exhibitions. He commended Expo Centre Sharjah for drawing new global exhibitors in the steel industry. SteelFab is seen as a leading platform for businesses to expand across Middle Eastern and North African markets.
