SRTI Park Celebrates Innovation Day During UAE Innovates 2025 Festival

The Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) recently hosted Innovation Day as part of the UAE Innovation Month "UAE Innovates 2025." Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this event is recognised as the largest national innovation festival in the UAE. The two-day gathering was organised by SRTIP in collaboration with the Federal Affairs Office in Sharjah and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Office, attended alongside several government and private sector leaders. This presence highlighted Sharjah's dedication to encouraging innovation and digital transformation. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, emphasised the event's role in promoting cross-sector collaboration and innovation as a key driver of economic growth.

Innovation Day at SRTI Park for UAE Innovates

Al Mahmoudi stated, "We take pride in hosting this event at SRTI Park, reinforcing Sharjah’s role in supporting government innovation and entrepreneurship. Innovation is the driving force behind sustainable development, and this event presents an ideal platform for exchanging ideas, sharing expertise, and inspiring future generations to innovate." He praised all participants for their contributions to making the event successful.

Abeer Tahlak, Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, highlighted that UAE Innovation Month serves as a unique annual platform to foster a culture of innovation within government and society. It encourages idea development and sustainable advancements aimed at improving life quality in the UAE.

Tahlak also noted that UAE Innovates 2025 coincides with the 10th anniversary of her centre. She stressed its significant role in embedding innovation into government initiatives. This year's event aims to positively impact society while aligning with the UAE’s vision for community development during the Year of Community.

This year's Innovation Day activities took place at SRTI Park, a central hub for innovation and sector collaboration. The event offered a strategic opportunity for knowledge exchange among participants. It inspired future generations while stimulating investment and economic landscapes through partnerships between government entities, private sectors, and academic institutions.

Showcasing Innovative Solutions

A substantial number of government entities participated in showcasing 14 interactive pavilions featuring prototype models. These cutting-edge solutions aim to advance various sectors. Such initiatives support the UAE’s vision to establish itself as a global hub for innovation by fostering partnerships that create new opportunities supporting the knowledge economy.

Sharjah has consistently participated in UAE Innovates since its inception. The emirate's outstanding initiatives have been lauded for their contribution to promoting a culture of innovation across different sectors.
