SRTI Park Collaborates With Maxbyte To Establish Industry X.0 Centre Of Excellence

An Abu Dhabi-based industrial deep tech firm, Maxbyte Technologies, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) to establish an advanced Industry X.0 Centre of Excellence. This initiative is poised to become a pivotal Industry X.0 enabler, significantly contributing to the economic development of the region. Industry X.0 represents a new digital era for businesses, encouraging the adoption of advanced technologies to revamp products and services from their design phase through to manufacturing and support, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and fostering enterprise-wide growth.

Maxbyte is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of industrial digitalisation, robotisation, and decarbonisation solutions. These efforts are aimed at boosting productivity, flexibility, efficiency, and growth across the industrial sector. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, expressed his enthusiasm about this collaboration, highlighting it as a historic moment for SRTI Park. He noted that Industry X.0 is revolutionising the industrial sector globally by unlocking new possibilities that were once considered beyond reach. Al Mahmoudi praised the high standards of Maxbyte and looked forward to offering regional companies unique services to expand their businesses within this vibrant ecosystem that is spearheading innovation in the region.

New Industry X.0 Centre in Sharjah

Ramshankar CS, CEO of Maxbyte, shared his excitement about establishing the Industry X.0 Centre of Excellence at SRTI Park, which has become a dynamic hub of innovation in the region. He emphasized that this Centre of Excellence is designed to empower manufacturers by building a future-ready workforce equipped with new skillsets. The goal is to enhance manufacturers' productivity, secure more business opportunities, and strengthen their manufacturing capabilities.

Maxbyte has set ambitious targets to educate 200 manufacturers annually on industry 4.0 transformation in a phased and agile manner. This initiative aims to support their transformation journey towards business excellence. By 2028, Maxbyte seeks to create 6,000 skilled technical professionals and enable job opportunities in the region to facilitate the regional industry 4.0 transformation. Over the next three years, more than 75 programmes are planned to be conducted by the Industry X.0 CoE, which is expected to impact over 1,500 individuals and more than 125 enterprises.

The rapid evolution of Industry X.0 technologies is enabling businesses to become 'smart' and more efficient. These technologies are instrumental in improving operational efficiency, reducing errors, enhancing asset performance, and prioritising digital practices within industries.
