SPL And SAL Logistics Services Sign Strategic Agreement To Improve Mail Handling Across Saudi Arabia

Saudi Post (SPL) and SAL Logistics Services have entered into a strategic partnership to improve mail handling and shipment transfer operations throughout Saudi Arabia. The agreement was formalised in the presence of SPL President Eng. Anef Abanomai and SAL CEO Eng. Omar Hariri. The signing was conducted by Mohammed Nahas, CEO of SAL Ground Handling, and Khalid Al-Mohammed, SPL's Vice President for Processing and Gateways.

The collaboration will see SAL take full responsibility for overseeing mail handling tasks. This includes receiving shipments, preparing dedicated loading units, and ensuring the safety of shipments during transfers between warehouses, postal facilities, and aircraft. The goal is to boost the efficiency of express mail operations while enhancing coordination between the postal and logistics sectors in Saudi Arabia.

Nahas highlighted that this agreement with SPL strengthens the integration between the Kingdom’s logistics and postal networks. It aligns with shared objectives to support the national economy by enabling faster, more secure, and reliable processing of mail shipments. Al-Mohammed emphasised that this partnership with SAL reaffirms SPL’s dedication as a national operator to advancing the postal and logistics ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. He noted that SPL is committed to integrating with strategic partners while maintaining high standards of quality and security in mail processing.
