Sky News Arabia Academy Signs Strategic MoU With Saudi Press Agency
In a significant move towards fostering media excellence and innovation, Sky News Arabia Academy, under the umbrella of International Media Investments (IMI), has entered into a strategic partnership with the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the Human Capability Initiative 2024 (HCI) event, hosted at the King Abdulaziz Convention Centre in Riyadh.
The MoU aims to bolster the capabilities of media professionals across all sectors. It focuses on enhancing skills in media and television presentation, along with content creation through comprehensive training programmes. These programmes are to be delivered by a team of seasoned professionals from Sky News Arabia and IMI, including journalists, news anchors, and content creation experts across various platforms such as television, digital, and audio.

Over the next three years, this partnership will seek to elevate the existing training programmes at the Saudi Press Agency. The goal is to address future challenges and embrace new trends within the media landscape. Additionally, the collaboration will involve implementing joint programs centered on innovation and media excellence, as well as facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences to foster a work environment conducive to growth and development.
