Dubai's Sheikh Mohammed Discusses Growth With Top Dignitaries And Business Leaders
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, met with local dignitaries, heads of government entities, investors, and businessmen at his weekly Majlis at the Union House in Dubai. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
During the gathering, His Highness emphasised the UAE's unique development model that fosters a partnership between the public and private sectors. This model focuses on creating opportunities for success and growth. He stated that the UAE has established one of the world's most favourable environments for business and investment through innovative initiatives that benefit both enterprises and society.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the significant role of the business community in accelerating Dubai’s development goals. "We are moving rapidly towards realising our ambitious objectives, supported by the contributions of the business community," he said. He stressed the importance of inspiring young people to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in sectors like tourism, trade, and technology.
His Highness also discussed the need for concerted efforts to nurture a new generation of entrepreneurs who can excel globally amidst an ever-changing economic landscape. "Concerted efforts are essential to cultivate a new generation of entrepreneurs who can make a mark on the global stage amidst a constantly changing economic landscape. We will spare no effort in motivating young people and facilitating the growth and success of their ventures," Sheikh Mohammed said.
The meeting addressed various aspects of Dubai's sustainable development achievements and initiatives aimed at enhancing collaboration between public and private sectors. These efforts are part of strategic plans set for implementation over the next decade. His Highness noted that Dubai’s economic ecosystem is built on principles such as openness, flexibility, and transparency.

These discussions align with objectives outlined in key agendas such as the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, Dubai Social Agenda 33, and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
The meeting was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council; and H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated.
