Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Issues Decree To Form UAE Water Aid Foundation's Board

This decree marks the formation of the Board of Trustees for the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia), underlining a strategic move to address global water scarcity issues. The newly formed Board will be chaired by the Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), ensuring a high level of leadership and expertise at the helm of this crucial initiative.
The Board's composition is notably inclusive, featuring a representative from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emirates Red Crescent, United Arab Emirates University, and Khalifa University. Additionally, it includes three representatives from DEWA and the CEO of the UAE Water Aid Foundation itself.
