Sharjah Summer Promotions 2025 To Launch On July 1 With Exciting Family Activities And Discounts
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), alongside the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), has unveiled the 2025 edition of Sharjah Summer Promotions. This event will take place from 1st July to 1st September, featuring over 1,000 retail outlets across the emirate. The initiative is organised with SCCI’s Shopping Malls Sector Business Group and involves coordination with various government entities.
This year introduces "Shamsa," a new mascot aimed at boosting family engagement. Shamsa is designed to enhance the campaign's appeal to families and children, reinforcing Sharjah's reputation as a hub for commerce, tourism, and family-friendly activities. The announcement was made during a press conference at the SCCI headquarters on Monday.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, highlighted that Sharjah Summer Promotions aligns with the Chamber’s forward-thinking vision. This vision is inspired by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi’s directives to strengthen Sharjah's status as a premier shopping and tourism destination. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, remarked that the campaign reflects their strategic vision focused on cross-sector collaboration.
Al Midfa stated, "This campaign is not merely a seasonal initiative but a reflection of our strategic vision, which focuses on enhancing cross-sector collaboration and delivering integrated tourism experiences." Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of Shurooq, noted that the event supports their goals to position Sharjah as a competitive summer destination in the UAE and beyond.
The introduction of "Shamsa" aims to symbolise brightness and creativity. Inspired by the Arabic word for sun, Shamsa will be central to this year's entertainment offerings. These include recreational activities, artistic workshops, games, and live performances tailored for children. A significant highlight will be "Shamsa Entertainment City," an interactive festival at Expo Centre Sharjah from 15th July to 15th August.
Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi reaffirmed SCCI’s commitment to making Summer Promotions a comprehensive marketing platform in cooperation with partners. Jamal Bouzanjal serves as General Coordinator of Sharjah Shopping Promotions. Abdullah Al Baloushi heads SCCI’s Shopping Malls Sector Business Group while Fadi Musharafieh leads the Hotel Sector Business Group.
Digital Engagement and Discounts
The campaign will offer extensive promotional events with discounts up to 75% on products from leading local and international brands over two months. A smart application will allow users to participate in electronic raffle draws. Additionally, a digital platform at www.shjsummer.ae provides details on offers, discount packages, and partner services.
