Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation Conducts Tour Of Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment Project For Community Engagement

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) recently organised an introductory tour for the "Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment" project at the Sharjah Public Works Department. The event featured an interactive pavilion that attracted significant participation from department employees. They learned about the project's objectives, which focus on supporting and empowering orphans. This initiative has garnered attention from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

During the visit, SSEF's team outlined various ways employees could contribute to the endowment. Options include direct bank transfers, monthly deductions, purchasing endowment certificates in varying amounts, or donating electronically via the "Neighbours of the Prophet" platform. This platform was specifically developed to facilitate contributions to this humanitarian cause.

She stated, "We are proud of the partnership with the Sharjah Public Works Department, and we appreciate their generous engagement with the 'Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment' project, which represents one of the most important pioneering projects seeking to secure sustainable sources of income to empower orphans and harness their potential."

Maryam Al Mazmi, Director of the Corporate Communications Centre at the Department, highlighted their honour in hosting a delegation from SSEF during this tour. She described the "Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment" as a valuable model for sustainable charitable work. Al Mazmi emphasised that supporting humanitarian initiatives is a core aspect of their department's strategic goals.

The project aims to create lasting financial support for orphan empowerment by engaging various community members in charitable activities. By offering multiple ways to contribute, it ensures inclusivity and accessibility for all interested parties.

This initiative reflects a broader commitment within Sharjah to foster community involvement in social welfare projects. It underscores a collective effort towards creating sustainable solutions for vulnerable groups like orphans.
