Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation Launches Orphan Happiness Initiative For Eid Al Adha

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has launched the "Orphan Happiness" initiative to coincide with Eid Al Adha. This initiative aims to bring joy to children without parental care and promote community solidarity. It provided Eid sweets, toy vouchers, free meals, and shopping vouchers to 100 families. Additionally, 233 orphans received Eid gifts, enhancing their enjoyment of the holiday and fostering a sense of independence.

Through this initiative, SSEF engages the community by involving individuals and institutions in various activities. These include recreational events, community visits, and interactive activities. The foundation also offers seasonal gifts and "Eidiya" during holidays and special occasions. Personalised surprises are given based on each child's interests through the "Sidrat Al-Amaniyat" project.

Orphan Happiness Initiative Launched in Sharjah

Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director-General of SSEF, highlighted the importance of the initiative in a press statement. She stated, "The ‘Orphan Happiness’ initiative was created to be a window of happiness and joy, through which we illuminate the paths of our children with care and joy. We believe that a single moment of sincere concern can change the psychology and lives of children for the better."

Al Suwaidi emphasised that this initiative is integral to SSEF's strategy for empowering fatherless children by providing psychological and social support. It serves as an opportunity to build connections of love while enhancing psychological support for these children.

The foundation encourages all members of society to continue their support and active involvement in such initiatives. Al Suwaidi stressed that success is only possible through collective efforts. The foundation's approach underscores the significance of community participation in improving the lives of orphans.

This initiative not only brings happiness to children but also strengthens community bonds by involving various societal segments in meaningful activities aimed at supporting orphans during festive times.
