Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation Receives Generous Donation From Dawoodi Bohra Community Sultan
The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has received a donation from the Sultan of the Dawoodi Bohra community. This contribution supports the "Prophet’s Neighbours" endowment project, which focuses on sustainable resources for orphan care and empowerment. This initiative aligns with community-giving efforts and promotes human solidarity values.
This donation highlights the Dawoodi Bohra community's dedication to global charitable support and collaboration with UAE humanitarian institutions. These efforts reflect the leadership's vision to empower society's diverse segments, fostering a stable future for upcoming generations.

Mona bin Hadha Al Suwaidi, Director-General of SSEF, expressed her gratitude to the Sultan of the Dawoodi Bohra community for this generous donation. She noted that this support significantly boosts the financial sustainability of projects aiding orphans and their families.
Al Suwaidi stated, "The endowment project ‘Prophet’s Neighbours’ is a practical embodiment of the values of compassion and solidarity advocated by our Noble Prophet—peace be upon him. At the Foundation, we are proud of this collaboration that translates the spirit of humanitarian dialogue into tangible projects that contribute to building a dignified life for our children deprived of parental care."
The funds will be directed towards specific endowment expenses, including comprehensive care programmes. These cover education for fatherless students, healthcare, living needs, home maintenance, vocational training, and psychological and social support.
Additionally, urgent assistance will be provided to widows, enhancing their quality of life. This ensures beneficiaries live with dignity and have equal opportunities for success and effective social integration.
This collaboration between SSEF and the Dawoodi Bohra community exemplifies how partnerships can create meaningful impacts in society. By focusing on orphans' welfare and widows' support, these initiatives aim to build a more inclusive future.
