Sheikh Sultan highlighted the extensive seven-year effort behind the dictionary, which documents the entire Arabic lexicon from pre-Islamic times to now. He described its completion as a milestone for the Arab world. His gratitude extended to all contributors, especially the Union of Arab Scientific Academies in Cairo, which set foundational guidelines for this project.

Recognising the need for widespread access to the dictionary, His Highness detailed modern access methods considering logistical challenges. Online access and a mobile app are now available for easy searching. In upcoming months, they plan to introduce "GPT Dictionary Project," an AI-driven feature enhancing interactive engagement with the dictionary.

Sheikh Sultan also spoke about a forthcoming comprehensive Arabic encyclopaedia integrating science, literature, and arts. Scholars involved in the dictionary will guide this project aimed at facilitating swift research through careful organisation.

At the meeting, several heads of Arabic language academies congratulated Sheikh Sultan on completing the dictionary and acknowledged his unwavering support. They emphasised its linguistic and historical significance and thanked him for promoting Arabic throughout the region.

Cultural Vision for Sharjah

The Sharjah Ruler expressed hope that Arabic language academies would enhance public understanding through seminars and lectures. These efforts aim to elevate scholars' status and enlighten communities about their contributions. Cultural initiatives align with Sharjah’s vision to advance knowledge, religion, and humanity in the Arab world.
