This new government entity will operate independently under the Sharjah Family and Community Council. It will have the legal authority to fulfil its objectives and responsibilities.

The headquarters of the Sharjah Hospitality Group will be in Sharjah city, with potential for branches elsewhere in the Emirate as decided by the Chairperson. Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi will lead the institution. The Chairperson will appoint suitable individuals to manage the Group and its associated entities.

New Sharjah Hospitality Group Established

The Chairperson has the power to create, merge, or dissolve any affiliated entities within the Group. They can also form or disband committees or councils related to the Group. Furthermore, they are responsible for approving budgets and may delegate powers to senior staff according to relevant laws.

The Group is tasked with developing public policies for hospitality services aimed at growth and advancement. It will set strategic plans and standards for its activities and those of its affiliates. Additionally, it will issue internal regulations governing operations in line with professional practices and standards.

The Group's duties include implementing programmes related to hospitality and wellbeing, organising contracts, and enhancing partnerships with both public and private sectors locally and internationally. It will monitor service quality through evaluations and improve continuously while training specialised human resources in coordination with relevant authorities.

Under its supervision, the Group will manage the Sharjah Ladies Club, its branches, Al Jawaher Reception, Convention Centre, and other related projects as decided by the Chairperson. The financial resources for these operations come from government allocations, revenues from affiliated activities, investments, sponsorships, partnerships, and other approved sources.

Financial Management

All funds must be deposited in banks approved by the Chairperson. These funds cannot be used for purposes outside their intended allocation without prior approval from the Chairperson or as per applicable legislation.

The Group's financial resources include government allocations, income from activities of affiliated entities, investment returns on its funds, sponsorships, partnerships, and other Chairperson-approved sources that align with its objectives.
