Sharjah Real Estate Registration Integrates Deeds With UAE Pass For Digital Ease
The Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah has taken a significant leap forward by integrating the service of ownership and usufruct deeds into the UAE Digital Identity (UAE Pass) app. This initiative marks the Department as the first governmental entity in Sharjah to offer such a service digitally. This move aligns with the UAE government's broader vision for digital transformation and aims to enhance the customer experience by making services more accessible.
Customers of the Department can now effortlessly download various deeds, including ownership deed, joint ownership deed, usufruct deed, or joint usufruct deed directly onto their mobile devices through the UAE Pass app. This development is part of the Department's commitment to streamlining processes and ensuring that customers can complete their transactions in an efficient, quick, and effective manner.

Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director-General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, emphasized the Department's dedication to providing a seamless customer experience. "The Department is keen to provide an easy and smooth experience for customers while they use our services," Al-Shamsi stated. He further highlighted that this initiative supports the strategic direction of providing all services in line with the best global practices.
This digital advancement is in response to the directives of Sharjah’s Executive Council for digital transformation. It also aligns with the objectives of ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision, which seeks to materialize the future visions of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan into reality. The vision is a stepping stone towards achieving the broader goals set for the UAE Centennial 2071, aiming at comprehensive development across all institutions operating within the country.
The integration of real estate services into a digital platform not only simplifies procedures for customers but also represents a significant milestone in Sharjah's journey towards digital transformation. By adopting such innovative solutions, Sharjah is setting a precedent for other departments and sectors to follow, contributing to the UAE's ambition of becoming a leading digital economy globally.
