Sharjah Real Estate Department Launches Registration For 2025 Real Estate Excellence Award

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department has opened registration for the 2025 "Real Estate Excellence Award." This opportunity is available to institutions, companies, associations, and real estate offices in Sharjah from 17th December 2025 to 29th January 2026. The initiative aims to foster a competitive real estate environment aligned with modern advancements and supports Sharjah's vision for sustainable growth in this sector.

Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director-General of the Department, stated that the award represents a significant institutional milestone. It reflects Sharjah’s strategic vision of promoting excellence and innovation while enhancing the sector's readiness for rapid developments. He encouraged real estate companies to participate actively and showcase initiatives that improve work quality and establish a culture of compliance.

This year, the award has seen significant updates in its evaluation criteria. These changes aim to elevate performance standards while promoting innovation and sustainability within Sharjah’s real estate market. The new standards align with the Emirate’s vision of creating an efficient and future-ready real estate ecosystem.

The updated criteria highlight environmental sustainability by encouraging energy- and water-saving systems and green building certifications. They also promote digital transformation through smart systems, electronic property management platforms, and artificial intelligence applications in real estate services.

The award now includes four main categories: real estate offices, development companies, owners' association boards, and management supervision service companies. This ensures a comprehensive evaluation relevant to various components of the emirate's real estate market. Applicants are encouraged to meet participation requirements and submit supporting materials for a fair assessment.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of Strategic Planning at the Department, highlighted that the award's development reflects their commitment to global best practices. The evaluation approach ensures integrity and objectivity through clear professional criteria based on reliability and accuracy.

Encouraging Community Engagement

The enhancements also focus on financial efficiency, operational sustainability, risk management improvements through emergency plans, safety certifications, and training programs for professionals to boost customer satisfaction. Transparency within owners’ associations is strengthened by publishing reports and making information accessible.

The award results will be announced during an official ceremony in April 2026. Winners will be honoured for achieving advanced levels of performance, accomplishment, and innovation.
