Sharjah National Oil Corporation To Host HSE EXPO 2025 Focusing On Health And Safety Standards

The Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) is set to host the HSE EXPO 2025 on April 16th and 17th at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. This event aims to unite industry leaders, regulators, and experts to enhance health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. The two-day gathering will focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and implementing solutions that benefit both individual organisations and the broader industry.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmad Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Petroleum Department, the expo seeks to drive collective progress. As industries face evolving regulations and environmental responsibilities, this event will encourage companies to adopt a proactive leadership culture in HSE practices.

Hatem Al Mosa, CEO of SNOC, emphasised the importance of a cultural shift in safety practices. "The failure of HSE practices can come at an enormous cost—not just to individuals, but to businesses, communities, and the environment. Achieving a proper safety cultural shift requires knowledge, education, society’s commitment to continuous improvement and recognition of the importance of collaboration across industries in driving this change," he stated.

The expo will gather decision-makers, HSE specialists, and sustainability advocates to shape future workplace safety and environmental responsibility agendas. It will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, hands-on training sessions, and live demonstrations on crucial topics like emergency preparedness and workplace hazard mitigation.

The Innovation Hub at the event will showcase advanced technologies in risk management, occupational health, and environmental safety. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore practical solutions that can be integrated into their organisations. Additionally, experts will offer insights into Sharjah's evolving HSE regulations to ensure compliance while adopting innovative safety measures.

A distinguished lineup of sponsors supports the event. These include the Government of Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Health Authority, University Hospital Sharjah, and various universities across the UAE. Their backing underscores the significance of advancing HSE standards within the region.

The expo aims to serve as a catalyst for companies striving for more than mere compliance with regulations. It encourages them to foster a culture where proactive leadership in health and safety becomes standard practice across industries.

This event represents a significant opportunity for organisations to align with best practices in health and safety while exploring new strategies for sustainability. By bringing together key stakeholders from various sectors, it promises to be an influential platform for driving positive change in HSE standards.
