Sharjah Media City Hosts Participants Of The 7th Young Arab Media Leaders Programme To Empower Future Professionals
Sharjah Media City (Shams) recently hosted a group of young media enthusiasts from across the Arab world. This initiative, organised by the Arab Youth Centre, included 55 participants from 18 different countries. The visit aligns with Shams' mission to equip emerging media professionals with essential skills for the evolving media landscape, especially in digital audio content like podcasts.
Rashid Abdullah Al Obad, Director General of Shams, highlighted the crucial role of youth in driving media progress. He stated, "We at Sharjah Media City (Shams) believe that youth are the true engine of any modern media renaissance." Al Obad stressed the importance of supporting young talents by offering them tools to create innovative and sustainable Arabic content.

The programme's focus on digital audio content reflects its growing appeal among young audiences. Podcasts have become one of the fastest-growing media formats, attracting significant interest from today's youth. By engaging with this format, participants can stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry.
