Sharjah Media City Launches New Programme To Empower Social Media Talents
Sharjah Media City (Shams) has introduced the "Influencers Room" programme during the 13th International Government Communication Forum. This initiative aims to nurture influencers and integrate them into the social media job market through a series of six-week training workshops.
The programme is designed to be an accessible platform for young talents and creatives across various social media channels. It aims to support business growth in this field by helping participants transform their ideas into successful ventures. The "Influencers Room" seeks to empower content creators with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence for success.
Workshops and interactive sessions will cover key aspects of influencer marketing, content creation, brand collaboration, audience engagement, social media strategies, and personal branding. These sessions will be led by industry experts in collaboration with global platforms, digital marketing specialists, and successful influencers.

Participants will benefit from inspiring talks by well-known influencers who will share their journeys, experiences, and insights. These talks will focus on challenges faced, success stories, and tips for overcoming competition in the field. Networking opportunities with peers, industry professionals, and potential partners are also included.
The first week introduces digital marketing basics, influencer marketing fundamentals, content creation techniques, audience behaviour understanding, goal setting, and an overview of the Meta platform. The second week covers media influence skills, follower and brand engagement strategies, an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), and a specialised segment on TikTok.
In the third week, participants will engage in a workshop on media speaking and audience interaction along with an introduction to Dolby technology. The fourth week includes photography and photo editing workshops as well as sessions on using digital tools for storytelling.
Advanced Content Creation Techniques
The fifth week focuses on media relations and digital content production from concept to execution. It also includes an introduction to YouTube platform functionalities. In the final week, there is a workshop dedicated to using AI in podcasting.
