Sharjah And Jeju Sign MoU To Boost Innovation, Culture, And Growth
Sharjah and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province of the Republic of Korea have embarked on a strategic partnership aimed at fostering collaboration in tourism, technology, and cultural exchange. This initiative was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah (DGR), and Oh Young-hun, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. This agreement signifies a pivotal development in the relationship between Sharjah and Korea, promising to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting its potential to lead to beneficial exchanges, innovation, and sustainable development for both regions. The MoU sets the stage for collaborative initiatives across various fields, including tourism, where both Sharjah and Jeju are recognized for their wellness offerings.
