Sharjah Islamic Bank Achieves Client Excellence Award From Deutsche Bank For Payment Processing Success
Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has been honoured with the "Client Excellence Award" by Deutsche Bank. This accolade recognises SIB's exceptional performance in straight-through processing (STP) of payment transactions. The bank achieved a remarkable 99% success rate for euro transfers and 98% for US dollar transfers in 2024, showcasing its high accuracy and efficiency in handling corporate and institutional payments without manual intervention.
Ahmed Saad, Deputy CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, accepted the award during a visit by Deutsche Bank's delegation to SIB’s headquarters. The meeting included Saeed Al Ameri, Head of Investment, Treasury, and Financial Institutions, along with other officials from both banks. Discussions centred on enhancing cooperation in STP and international payment operations, aligning with global best practices.
