Sharjah Investment Forum 2025 Begins Tomorrow With Participation From 142 Countries
The Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2025) is set to begin on Wednesday, 22nd October, at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. The event will attract over 10,000 participants from 142 countries and feature 130 international speakers, including ministers and economic leaders.
Organised by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) in collaboration with WAIPA and the UAE Ministry of Investment, this year's theme is "Transforming Our World: Investing for a Resilient and Sustainable Future". The forum underscores Sharjah's emerging role as a global centre for economic dialogue and innovation in investment strategies.

Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations in Sharjah, will be present alongside notable international ministers. These include Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi from the UAE, Mikayil Jabbarov from Azerbaijan, Miguel Medina from Honduras, and Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh from Pakistan. Their participation highlights the forum's significance on a global scale.
The event will also feature Osama Fadhel from the UAE Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology; Dr. James Zhan, Chairman of the WIC Executive Board; and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Professor Raekwon Chung. These experts will contribute valuable insights into global economic trends and investment opportunities.
The forum's agenda includes more than 160 sessions and 120 bilateral meetings. It addresses geopolitical, technological, and climate changes affecting global investments. Delegates will discuss sustainable finance, food security, public-private partnerships, smart agriculture opportunities, and regional market integration.
A significant focus is placed on empowering SMEs as vital components for foreign direct investment and long-term economic stability. This emphasis reflects their importance in fostering resilience within economies worldwide.
