Sharjah To Host The Seventh Edition Of Come On Kerala Exhibition This May

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Expo Centre Sharjah have announced the seventh edition of the Indian trade, cultural, and entertainment exhibition, Come On Kerala. Scheduled from 9th to 11th May, the event is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

This year’s exhibition will host over 300 exhibitors from both government entities and private sector companies in the UAE and India. It is anticipated to draw more than 275,000 visitors. The event is organised by Gulf Madhyamam in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber, marking it as the largest Indian international trade fair in the Middle East with a special emphasis on Kerala's culture.

Come On Kerala Exhibition Returns to Sharjah

Abdulaziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI, stated that this event aligns with Sharjah’s strategic aim to enhance global economic relations. He emphasised India's significance as a key trading partner for the UAE. Jamal Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communication at SCCI, noted that the exhibition promotes trade and investment opportunities while providing a platform for collaboration.

Sultan Mohammed Al Omrani, Commercial Director at Expo Centre Sharjah, confirmed that all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure a successful event. He highlighted its role in strengthening UAE–India relations and supporting Sharjah’s position within the exhibitions sector.

The exhibition will feature over 20 cultural and entertainment programmes. These include live performances by Bollywood stars Mohanlal and Priya Mani, along with interactive family activities themed around Kerala’s heritage. Traditional cuisine festivals, competitions, music shows, and fashion events will also be part of the festivities.

Entrepreneurs from both nations will present innovations across various sectors such as healthcare, tourism, education, retail, and interior design. This reinforces its status as the region’s largest Indian festival and an essential platform connecting the UAE and India.

This event not only celebrates Indian culture but also serves as a significant opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services across the region. It highlights the importance of cultural exchange in fostering economic growth between nations.
