Sharjah Finance Department And Network International Collaborate To Enhance Digital Payment Solutions
The Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) has entered into a strategic partnership with Network International, a prominent fintech firm in the Middle East and Africa. This collaboration is part of SFD's plan to expand its partnerships with top banking and financial institutions. The agreement aims to enhance the government's financial ecosystem by using Network's advanced digital payment solutions.
Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of SFD, highlighted that this partnership aligns with SFD's strategy to develop an innovative financial environment in Sharjah. He stated that adopting state-of-the-art digital payment solutions will improve operational efficiency and offer customers more flexible options. "This agreement represents a pivotal step in supporting Sharjah Government’s journey towards building a smart and sustainable financial system, capable of adapting to change," he added.

Network International will provide a comprehensive suite of payment solutions as part of the agreement. This includes both in-person and online payment options along with various value-added services. These offerings aim to support SFD's efforts in advancing Sharjah's digital financial ecosystem, ensuring it remains efficient and adaptable.
The signing ceremony took place at SFD headquarters in Sharjah. Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi and Murat Cagri Suzer, Group CEO of Network International, signed the agreement. Senior officials and employees from both organisations attended the event, marking a significant moment for both parties involved.
