Sharjah Education Academy Becomes Institutional Member Of WERA To Enhance Global Educational Research

Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) has joined the World Education Research Association (WERA) as an institutional member. This global network is dedicated to advancing educational research, policy, and practice. SEA is now among only five global institutional members, enhancing WERA's presence in the Middle East. This membership strengthens Sharjah's reputation as a hub for academic excellence and innovation by fostering collaboration among institutions, researchers, and thought leaders.

Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, President of SEA, expressed enthusiasm about joining this esteemed network. She stated, "We are delighted to be welcomed into this esteemed global network dedicated to advancing Education, research, and policy. This membership marks a significant milestone in our journey to position SEA as a leading centre for educational excellence and innovation, not only within the region but also on the international stage. We are committed to actively contributing to WERA’s vision by promoting rigorous research, meaningful dialogue, and impactful collaboration across borders."

The academy is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that cultivates future-ready educators throughout the UAE and beyond.

Founded in 2009 in San Diego, California, WERA is a global alliance of national and regional research associations focused on advancing education research as a scientific field. Through its membership with WERA, SEA aims to contribute significantly towards this mission by engaging actively in governance and research networks.

This strategic membership with WERA underscores Sharjah Education Academy's dedication to creating transformative learning experiences across borders. It reinforces their commitment towards building an academic framework that supports high-quality education initiatives within the region while maintaining international standards.
