Sharjah Economic Development Department Introduces New Corporate Identity For Sustainable Growth
The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has unveiled its new corporate identity, encapsulated by the slogan "New Prospects for Sustainable Economy." This initiative underscores SEDD's dedication to sustainable economic growth and modernisation. The department aims to align with future developments and bolster a diverse, innovative economy.
The slogan's design incorporates geometric patterns that symbolise precision, organisation, and effective governance. It also signifies growth, innovation, sustainability, and stability. Sharp angles in the design highlight efficiency and institutional accuracy, while gradual transformations depict the economy's adaptability to new trends.

SEDD’s updated identity includes a cohesive set of design elements such as colours, fonts, patterns, and icons. These are crafted for both digital and print media to ensure a consistent and contemporary visual presence. This rebranding effort reflects SEDD’s commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability.
Hamad Ali Abdulla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of SEDD and Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, remarked on this development. He stated that the new identity marks an ambitious phase for the department. "The Department’s new corporate identity reflects its forward-looking vision and ambition to adopt global best practices that enhance performance indicators and service quality across this vital sector," he said.
Al Mahmoud further noted that this rebranding highlights SEDD’s active role in advancing Sharjah’s economic framework. It reinforces its leadership within the government economic sector. "This launch represents an extension of the Department’s mission to respond to present realities while anticipating future opportunities through well-planned strategies inspired by the wise leadership’s vision for excellence and progress," Al Mahmoud stated.
Through this renewed corporate identity, SEDD reiterates its dedication to enhancing competitiveness and building strategic partnerships. The department aims to strengthen institutional capabilities to achieve Sharjah’s economic goals effectively.
This initiative not only reflects SEDD's strategic vision but also aligns with its core values of continuous improvement. By embracing modernisation, SEDD is poised to meet future challenges head-on while maintaining a stable economic environment in Sharjah.
