Sharjah Crown Prince Reviews Academic Development And Digital Progress At Police Academy
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, led a meeting at the Sharjah Police Academy (SPA). As Chairman of the SPA council, he highlighted the Academy's progress in creating a comprehensive security education model. This model integrates quality, innovation, and practical excellence.
The Academy's staff received commendation for their dedication to enhancing academic, research, and training programmes. These efforts align with the Emirate’s future goals and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. The aim is to nurture highly qualified professionals who bolster security and stability.
The Council explored various projects aimed at boosting academic and training capabilities. They discussed initiatives designed to elevate the Academy’s scientific and practical strengths. A key topic was the counter-terrorism training programme conducted with France's RAID unit. This programme included advanced techniques in assessment shooting, infiltration tactics, and crisis management.
Another significant discussion point was the development of a Virtual Centre for Education and Training. This centre is crucial to the Academy’s digital transformation strategy. It aims to provide an interactive learning environment that blends virtual and real-world elements to improve educational quality.

The Council reviewed the participation of the Academy’s musical band in Moscow's Spasskaya International Festival. Representing both the UAE and Sharjah, their performances showcased cultural identity and professionalism. The band received international acclaim for its display of UAE culture.
