Sharjah Charity International's Dathironi Campaign Aims To Aid Winter Victims In Montenegro And Bosnia

The Sharjah Charity International (SCI), with support from Dubai Islamic Bank, has launched the "Dathironi" campaign. This initiative aims to combat the extreme cold in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The campaign was announced during a field visit led by Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, SCI's Executive Director, and Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, Head of the Projects Sector.

More than 7,000 individuals in these countries will benefit from this initiative. The campaign provides heavy clothing, blankets, and various heating methods to protect them from harsh winter conditions. The goal is to ensure that those affected have adequate protection against the severe cold.

Dathironi Campaign Supports Winter Relief Efforts

Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim expressed gratitude for the support received from Dubai Islamic Bank. He stated, "There is no doubt that this initiative, which came with generous support from Dubai Islamic Bank, expresses the value of joint work and its impact on charitable work and achieving the welfare of beneficiaries." This collaboration highlights the bank's role in supporting SCI’s projects through various initiatives.

The SCI delegation visited remote areas where temperatures drop significantly. They met beneficiaries who lack shelter from the cold and provided them with essential heating resources. This effort aligns with SCI’s mission to lead in humanitarian aid programs by reaching out to those in need.

During their visit, the delegation engaged with officials in both countries. These officials praised the initiative for addressing winter needs effectively. The campaign's impact was acknowledged as it provided necessary winter supplies to those most vulnerable to freezing temperatures.

Bin Khadim emphasized that this initiative reflects SCI’s goals and vision for leadership in humanitarian aid. By touring affected areas and meeting with beneficiaries directly, they ensured that help reached those who needed it most during harsh winters.

This collaborative effort between SCI and Dubai Islamic Bank demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility. It showcases how joint initiatives can make a significant difference in improving lives through coordinated charitable actions.
